Daft Punk’s ELECTROMA A 74-minute silent film written and directed by DP. I don’t really know how to put this, but it is incredibly depressing. I expected nothing like that considering that there are no lines or dialogue whatsoever and has only minimal music (none by DP by the way, if that’s what you were expecting). It seems really really slow at first (and at some scenes), but that’s because it’s line-less. It’s more of a cinematographic film, so be patient! Anyways, it’s basically about two robots, DP (oddly not played by them), on a journey to become humans. A very interesting (and once again, DEPRESSING) watch. It’s become one of my favorites now.  Here’s the link to watch it if you’re interested.

On 18 February 2011, Trinity Orchestra, the only fully student run orchestra in Ireland, played Daft Punk’s album ‘Discovery’, the first ever live full orchestral performance of the music of Daft Punk. This video features the medley of Daft Punk’s greatest hits that was played as an encore.

This makes me so fucking happy.

DAFT PUNK x HASSAPI I had a strong urge to draw that helmet after having a small Daft Punk spaz the past two weeks. So I did, but then I got bored in econ (as always) so I added a swaggin tux+bowtie, jetpack, drink, and some cool looking shoes. The shoes are fictional, but I wish they weren’t. Colored the helmet on PS. That’s about it. Enjoy, I haven’t drawn in a while. (gotta warm up for my Cooper Union hometest!)
